Bobby Groocock, the account executive for our clients in South Yorkshire, covering Sheffield, Barnsley, Doncaster and Rotherham is going to put down his phone and office furniture hat and instead put up his fists in his latest challenge.

Bobby has entered a white collar boxing event to be held at the Keepmoat Stadium, home of Doncaster Rovers FC, to be held in six weeks time. White collar boxing is an event where novice boxers have eight weeks to learn to box before then having a bout against another boxer who has undertaken the same process. In those eight weeks, training is intense, not only learning how to box, but also physically and mentally.

Bobby’s first training session was on two weeks ago, and the 38 year old is looking to get in tip top shape for his fight. Bobby only started working with Yorkshire Office Group in March 2014, but has shown great commitment towards our company and we are all supporting him in his latest challenge.

In the next eight weeks he will be learning how to punch, how to defend and gain large amounts of fitness to ensure that he can last the multiple round bout. Such is his dedication, he will also be balancing this with working full time in our office, helping all his accounts get the most out of their office furniture and supplies contracts. This will be an incredibly busy time as well as we lead up to Christmas so Bobby will have a busy 56 days!

If you would like to send Bobby emails of support or like to come and watch the event, please get in contact with him by emailing bobby@yorkshireofficegroup.com

You can keep up to date with his progress at Yorkshireofficegroup.com and we will have photos of his fight in eight weeks time where we hope to be congratulating Bobby on his first every win.
