Yorkshire Office double their Operations

In 2011 Yorkshire Office doubled their office & warehouse capacity, moving into their modern warehouse and office unit on the Biz Space Business Park at Wakefield near junction 39 M1.

Professional Service with Personal attention.

How it all started – the ‘kwik save baby’ was born

Back in 1998 M.D. John came home early from work one Monday morning to his wife Clare and their recently arrived 3 month old baby with news that his role of Northern Sales Director for a London based corporate business was no longer.

John & Clare very soon got over the initial shock and Yorkshire Office was born with a determination to provide the very best service to all customers alike. A week later, with John initially working from home on a very tight budget (their new addition became known as the ‘Kwik Save Baby’) and John was highly motivated to make a success of the newly born start up business, ably supported by Clare.

New customers came thick & fast, with sales doubling year on year as new clients enjoyed the professional & personal approach as a refreshing alternative to the feeling of ‘just another client ‘ of one of the ‘big corporate’ suppliers.

That professional & personal service continues today…

How it developed – garage to business park

In June 2000 John returned to his ‘home office’ (a modest 3 bedroom suburban house in the Yorkshire village of Emley) to a hand-written note from neighbours Margaret & Kevin to pop round as they had signed for a delivery.

Expecting to perhaps find a small parcel, John found new office chairs covered in polythene in their lounge , the kitchen , the garage , hallway , in fact everywhere you looked there were ..... office chairs ! Margaret & Kevin were very understanding and saw the humorous side, but maybe Yorkshire Office had outgrown their current home.....

Very soon after Yorkshire Office moved into a modern warehouse and office unit on the Biz Space Business Park at Wakefield near junction 39 M1 and in April 2011 moved again to larger premises on the same Business Park, doubling the warehouse capacity and expanding the offices to accommodate extra staff numbers.
